Rob da Bank of BBC Radio 1 and UK music festival "Bestival" played an exclusive preview of The Cutler on his radio show expressing his praise for the duo and their music saying, "Beautiful! Lovin' The Cutler." Since then DJs from North America, Australia, the UK and Europe have backed The Cutler with airplay.

Formed by Steve Cobby & David ´Porky´ Brennand, The Cutler is from Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire.

Steve Cobby is best known as one half of Fila Brazillia. "Let's flaunt convention and get on with the business of Steve Cobby's major contribution to downtempo funk in this country and leftfield dance music in general. He is one half of Fila Brazillia and one third of Heights of Abraham, which on their own should get him a knighthood." said DJ Magazine. "Porky" made his mark on the European music scene after forming the UK-based indie label Pork Recordings - a label hugely important label in the Downtempo arena.

The debut release from Steel Tiger was 'Put me On A Planet' by J*S*T*A*R*S.
