In Transit

A 3 track electronic ep (14m 16s) — released November 30th 2018 on Boxout.fm Recordings

"Imperfect" human drumming isn't just passé and overly-romanticized in electronic music, it's a bona fide disease. Luckily, it's one that hasn't impaired the Corridors repertoire in the least. Instead, we have a metal-skinsman-turned-producer whose decisive embrace of synthetic, machine music has allowed for something as succinct and potent as the In Transit EP.

Miles apart from some druggy, casual, DAW-led, late night fling between haptics and rhythm, the In Transit EP showcases the kind of skilful beat programming and use of vocals and ambience that will satiate Prefuse 73 fans as much as it will BoC worshippers.

Corridors isn't peddling just any expensive gas. It's the kind you want to stuff your pipe with, fire up and inhale before riding a glass elevator into the troposphere.

Corridors is the solo-project of Delhi based musician, Rijul Victor. He's been a student of the drums since the age of 12, and has established a niche for his style of drumming in the music industry. As a part of his band, "Colossal Figures", he's played at some of India's biggest festivals. With his knowledge of playing over 10 instruments and his ever-expanding production skills, Corridors is an honest representation of Rijul as a composer/producer, as well as a live performer.

Corridors' release with Boxout.fm Recordings, titled In Transit, sees him exploring and interpreting the bassier side of his sound. Retaining his signature experimental and ethereal vibe, In Transit sees Corridors navigating the intersection of bass music and experimental/ambient electronic sounds. This EP charts Corridors' constant evolution as a producer.
