The Ides

An international band with roots in Malawi, China, Spain, Norway and the UK and now based south of London. They played 13 festivals in the summer of 2009 including Glastonbury, Beachbreak, Blissfields, Guilfest and The Electric Picnic. They toured the UK with Deadzone in October '09 and played shows across Europe in the Winter. They have also remixed for the likes of Datarock, Parka, GoodBooks, Far Too Loud and Citadels, have been remixed recently by Raffertie, Far Too Loud, Subterra & Bazil and JOCKS and recorded with Akil from Jurassic 5. 'The Ides' is a dark, heavy track with elements of dubstep and rock and with a strong vocal hook and swelling synths. It is the track that has connected best with the media, in particular with Eddy Temple Morris who played the track a few times on his XFM show. 'The Ides' is also being used on the Moto GP 2010 game.
