Aerobics In Space (Remix/Serato Pressing)

A 3 track leftfield/idm ep (11m 10s) — released June 13th 2011 on DO RIGHT! MUSIC

While Serato may be the world leader in advanced digital DJing, they're still vinyl junkies at heart. The limited-quantity Serato Pressing Series is one way they pay tribute to the vinyl they love. Do Right Music is truly honoured to be the featured record label for the 17th edition of this prestigious series -- joining the company of Def Jam, Ninja Tune, Stones Throw, Ubiquity and Tru Thoughts Records. Do Right artist Maylee Todd's hot single 'Aerobics in Space' and the "Spaced-Out" remix by Prommer & Barck (Christian Prommer and Alex of Jazzanova) will appear on the flip side of the record, with the Serato Control Vinyl on the other side. The adventurous, forward-thinking sound of 'Aerobics In Space' was the perfect fit for the flip side of a Serato Pressing. International tastemaker Gilles Peterson said on his BBC Radio 1 show that the song "reminds me of Jean Luc Ponty's 'In The Fast Lane'. It was a kind of a crazy, ahead-of-its-time tune, and this track is all over that vibe. I'm loving it!" Prommer & Barck have each been rocking the dance music scene for over a decade. Their recent collaboration has set dancefloors around the world ablaze, and this new remix promises to throw more fuel on the fire. As always, this Serato Pressing will be available in limited quantity.
