After their highly praised first album The Groove Collage the boys from Innvision-Records release the second ep of the album. It opens with the feel-good boogaloo track Funky Kitchen, a homage to the club of the same name in Munich where Ed and Enne had wonderful times as residents but which was unfortunately torn down. This is followed by Use Your Brain, a truly funky track in Innvision Style splattered with hip-hop beats. B1 starts with a remix by KÂ´bonus of the albums title track Groove Collage. He is of course already known to us through his releases with Pulver and Eighttrack and has minimised the tune to bring us a fat grooving breakbeat track with live saxophone. The listener is then presented with the original and can enjoy the maximized version of this influential track. The whole thing is filled with jazzy drum beats, horns and piano and is coupled with fine electronic sounds. This second bombastic ep is another perfect blend of the diverse influences of Ed Royal & Enne and finds those listeners on the dance floor who just can get enough of it!!
