By The Fire / Now and Hereafter

A 4 track electropop single (13m ) — released December 6th 2010 on Camp Mozart
Cornelia is a new voice making big waves, her debut release "Capsule" was her fantastically colourful, elemental tour de force - deserving that warm space in your mind's ear, reserved only for really great music. Pared-down sound-sculpting appears common in today's electronic music but rarely is it as instantly enveloping or comforting as when partnered with Cornelia's hushed croon and immaculate harmonies which really allow her to flourish. Cornelia's formative years in Sweden were spent making up stories and songs, to the backdrop of Oland's magnificent and vast landscapes. It was only after years in choirs, playing in the band Popshop, performing on other records and a brief spell as a songwriter for other artists that Cornelia was pushed to explore the possibilities of DIY music. Armed with the advice of fellow electronic heroine Robyn in 2008, Cornelia set up her own label "Camp Mozart" in order to release "Capsule". Re-locating to London in 2010, Cornelia has been hard at work with a number of the cities finest producers and is now launching her new campaign, armed with a solid base of songs and a distinctive and instantly recognisable sound. Cornelia not only has a voice to be reckoned with, but now is a voice to be reckoned with. Sited as a Next Big Thing by Mixmag magazine and a Breaking Act by Times Culture.
