Scandanavian pair Holmar Filipsson and Klas-Henrik Lindblad aka Sasse are busy people. What with running their collective labels Moodmusic, Crack & Speed, Thugfucker Recordings, and a gallon of original releases they have somehow managed to find time to hook up to produce a cracker of an album.
The pair share a love for disco and deep house music and this is very apparent in the music they come together to create. This EP features three choice cuts from their upcoming album 'A Splendor In The Grass'.
Lead track 'Another Plan' is piano and bass driven deep disco house. 'New Life' is a more thoughtful and slo-mo affair which uses a solid and pondering synth bass with gallons of dead air space within the track itself highly effectively. The snazzy 'Daniel Wang is My Neighbor' rounds off the EP with bags of Metroarea vibe and NYC infused synth-funk grooves. Stay on this channel for their upcoming album, which just happens to be our virgin long-player release for us noobies Nang.
