Afro Boogie Super Hombre

A 3 track latin soul single (14m 56s) — released July 29th 2013 on Sunlightsquare Records

The much anticipated second single from the forthcoming Sunlightsquare album 'King Yoruba' is finally here. Sunlightsquare's double 'A' Sided: Afro Boogie Super Hombre c/w Fantasy is the brainchild of the acclaimed London based Italian musician and producer Claudio Passavanti.

Recorded in both Havana, Cuba and London, England, 'Afro Boogie Super Hombre' features the sophisticated and unique vocal styling of Cuban Javier Valera. 'Afro Boogie Super Hombre' also contains HUGE and exciting brass intricacies, coupled with skilful percussion and the production values that you have come to expect from Sunlightsquare.

The fun does not end there though. 'Afro Boogie Super Hombre' is a double 'A' sided single and is c/w 'Fantasy'. Fearless with his creation and never scared to experiment, Claudio Passavanti has completely rewritten the rulebook and reworked the Earth, Wind & Fire classic 'Fantasy'.

This is not the first time Sunlightsquare have broken all rules with great success. In March 2010, Sunlightsquare released the highly successful and critically acclaimed Jackson Sisters cover version of 'I Believe In Miracles'. As with 'Afro Boogie Super Hombre', 'Fantasy' is a is fantastically produced with exciting brass and and skilful percussion. 'Fantasy' features lead vocals from London Soul and RnB vocalist Kevin Mark Trail and Cuban Lazaro Antonio Rodriguez.
