Same Sh*t, Different Day

A 2 track jungle/drum 'n' bass single (11m 27s) — released March 2nd 2009 on Zombie Recordings
Twisted Individual returns to his Zombie imprint with his second release in a row. Flipping the script from his last release ZOMBIEUK023 is two contrasting cuts of slightly more experimental jump up badness. 'Same Shit, Different Day', which features the vocals of rising star Phoenix, starts with an off key intro is washed aside for a rolling bassline workout. Keeping it nice and simple with an old skool less-is-more vibe this track is one for those who like more bass, less noise! 'Lunatic Response Unit' finds Twisted in grimey mode with full orchestral support on the intro. A slow and steady build up of swirling fx, menacing horns, bold brass and soothing strings combine to grand effect before Twisted's speaker punching drums kick in. Featuring the vocals of MC Biggie on the build up, the grandeur gives way to one of the filthiest basslines you're likely to hear this year!
