Like the members, it's a mix of up to date techno gadgets, piggybacked with old classic analogue gear and is the result of what happens when an accomplished singer/songwriter is locked up in the vocal booth of a hip-hop producer. Papa La Bas feature some tight instrumentation allied with future facing electronica, hip-hop sensibilities, soundscaped cutting and scratching techniques, and all in support of the most beautifully transparent vocal talent.
