Escape Into
A 1 track tech-house single (4m 49s) — released May 17th 2024 on Borne Fruits
Amaliah's Borne Fruits imprint returns with part two of its Club Entry compilation series, upping the curational ante to present 11 tracks from a diverse array of prescient club producers all in ode to beloved London club The Cause's previous location at Ashley Road in Tottenham.
There's a sonic lineage that runs through the heart of Borne Fruits, from rave's hardcore continuum past and present to the unclassifiable modern mutations of percussive-heavy global club styles. Amaliah, the label's founder, is a torchbearer for these boundless dancefloor explorations whether through her own productions, DJ sets or in the platforming of up and coming producers in her orbit who represent those fwd-thinking ideals.
Club Entry is Borne Fruits' stage in this regard, a compilation series that simultaneously celebrates the abundant music making talent of her native UK and the clubs that shape the capital's dance music landscape. Following Volume 1's aural love letter to Fabric, Club Entry's
second edition transports us to a place that once was; the much-missed old site of The Cause on Ashley Road in Tottenham. Amaliah is joined by NIKS, ZJ, Roaming Data, Dusty Dan, Riva, Mulholland, RONI, Kitsta, DreamrDreamr and Zaltsman to reignite poignant rave memories from the space, and have you reliving the thrill of dancing amongst the Cage, Theatre, Garage, Grow and Greenhouse all over again.
DreamrDreamr - Escape Into is a tech house hedonist's fairy tale, a pure and joyous eyes-closed stomper that entrances in arms-aloft glee.
