Waz-u's debut single takes well-trodden electronic music elements and reassembles them into club-focused, thinking person's techno exploration. There are clear influences from innovators such as Floating Points, Rival Consoles and Jon Hopkins in the approach to structure, sound design and melodic aspects of Eufemie. Throughout the track, the imperfection of the hardware can be appreciated, which gives a nostalgic, lifelike quality to the track's production.

The cyberpunk retro futuristic starting point is at the heart of this track: it feels continuously flowing between darkness and light through the juxtaposition of major and minor chords. Although being a dance track at heart Euphemie offers something more subtle and psychedelic through the experience that it offers. It fits perfectly as a bit of colour into a DJ mix and is a great way to change the palette for a dancefloor.
