Nickelodeon EP

A 4 track cut & paste ep (16m 38s) — released September 12th 2011 on Bombstrikes

Serial chart toppers Bombstrikes are back again with another ep of club wrecking music. Canadian J-Roc is at the controls for this one and the end result is a great showcase of how the Sould Out Dj is carving a niche for his own brand of quirky and bass influenced music. Also on the Ep is a colab with label boss Mooqee, so as you would expect from Bombstirkes, the pedigree involved is high on this one. Lead track 'Nickelodeon' is a slice of pure dancefloor fun crafted with a touch of genius, which ensures it never becomes novelty. The catchiest of swing hooks locks to the beats and away it goes….guaranteed floor movement. 'Shake' takes things up-tempo but fits perfectly with the labels ethos as rock N Roll sits next to DrumNBass. Better things sees J-roc join forces with Mooqee to devastating effect. The vocal works its way into the listeners' head and stays there, whilst perfectly programmed beats and bass hooks ensure the feet are taken care of. The duo has certainly delivered on this one. Wrapping the package off nicely is Handz Up, classic J-roc stuff. Quick cuts, tough beats, hype vocals and of course that "Jroc Bass"
