Deaf Florists is set to release his debut EP on his own digital record label, Botanical, featuring four acid-infused techno tracks that seamlessly explore the boundaries of the genre.

The EP kicks off with the title track IICON, a punchy, high-energy techno roller built on a solid four-on-the-floor foundation. With a blend of breakbeat rhythms and acid hooks, IICON draws inspiration from Deaf Florists' own experiences at IICON, Block 9 at Glastonbury Festival.

Capturing the raw intensity, euphoric chaos, and sheer volume of the festival's iconic dance music stage, this track is engineered to be played loud, demanding to be heard on a top-tier sound system.

Next, Fever Dream emerges from hours of experimentation with semi-modular synths, combining a high-BPM tech-house bassline with shimmering, euphoric euro synths.

The result is a unique fusion that brings the listener on a ride through futuristic soundscapes and rhythmic energy.

In a departure from the fast-paced, peak-time vibes of the first two tracks, Forward offers a more nuanced, dub-influenced breaks track. With an escalating, atmospheric buildup, Forward transforms into an uplifting acid breaks roller, complete with chopped-up choir vocals and vintage arpeggiators, evoking a sense of tension and release in perfect harmony.

Rounding out the EP is Eastern Block Kids, a straight-up tech-house roller anchored by a tough, driving bassline and a playful, Game Boy-inspired synth hook.

The track's title pays homage to the children who grew up in the Soviet-built housing estates of Eastern Europe, navigating the stark, brutalist architecture to create their own moments of joy and escape through music and play.
