Soul Soda is back! Nearly 4 years have passed since their last release on Stereo Deluxe and backed with a their new label Backslide Records there's loads of fresh sounds to be released in the near future. With No Mercy the EP starts with a rough, but charming summerly packed broken beat track. On the flip This Pretty Idea provides a horn-driven mid-tempo funk track for the dancefloor. The title track and Silent Days convince with shadowesque downtempo grooves. Catchy guitarlines and filtered breaks indicate the tone and combine the current raw sounds with the well-known Soul Soda brilliance. Soul Soda are: Markus Girrulat, Markus Driessen and Moritz Brumsack the guitar, who joined the Sodas earlier this year. Package in glorious gatefold jacket, very sexy.
