This third release on the label sees label boss Spinks in full blown aggressive Electro-Breaks mode. It starts with title track '21 Knockouts', and what a start it is. Raw, unrefined, brutal and entirely original, the track is made up of frightening quantities of distorted bass and midrange resonance which build and build and then break down. And just when you thought this aural assault is over, the track comes back with an insane crescendo.
On the flip, 'Heat Rizin'' is a crowd favourite at Spinks's live gigs - another chunky slice of bass-driven electro, topped by an old school vocal hook, which once again heats up the action to boiling point and then explodes into a frenzy of cut ups. The bit that wins the crowd over is the slowing down of the track to hip-hop speed, and then its gradual return to the original BPM, perfectly in time for cuing the next record.
Rounded up with 'Anger Voltage', another big and brutal track leaning more towards a Miami style Electro Bass sound, with its deep, long sub bass kicks and driving set of perfectly timed synths and cut up beats.'
