Harmonic Frequencies, Vol. 1

A 10 track deep house album (56m 4s) — released March 22nd 2024 on Natural Frequency Records

Natural Frequency Records is a label that embraces the full spectrum of electronic music. Emotion and movement over genres and scenes. Our ninth release is the perfect expression of that.

Harmonic Frequencies (Volume 1) brings together a beautiful array of talent into a 10 track compilation. Many different frequencies working in harmony.

Paris-based talent Serious A (Ilio Records)opens up the comp with 'Majima's Heart' a dream-like, atmospheric tribute to a character from the Yakuza game series.

LA-based polymath Damar Davis (Salon Recordings) strides in with the supremely produced, swaying vocal workout 'Ode'. A treat for the soul.

Noted selector and party-starter Mr Redley (Black Wine Club/Rinse FM) brings his trademark energy with 'Kinny Reach', a mesmeric acid-bassline roller.

LDLDN(Natural Frequency, NTS Radio) takes the reflective, emotional route with the skipping, string-heavy 'General Principle'. Chords for days.

Newcomer MAATH (On the One) explodes into being with 'Upside Down In The Blue' a robust, chugging house bop that swings and swells.

Respected DJ and synth-wrangler Kenny Blacksmith delivers a chunky, bumping slice of techno with 'Monday's Fish'. A fun record with drums that cut right through the mix.

Alphonse - an alias of the legendary Toby Tobias (Hypercolour) - delivers 'Whale Turn', a wild, bubbling ride that switches half way through and frazzles your mind.

LDLDN steps back into the fray with 'True Acid Raver', a fizzing 909-drum machine driven thank you to all the hardcore ravers who keep the scene alive.

Galaxy Brain (Soho Radio) blew us away with her remix on 2023's 'Technology Remixes EP' and she delivers again with 'Champagne Acid'. Acid with a deep house twist.

Ending on a high, low frequency obsessive Void Complet (Chobu) comes with a typically abstract, bass heavy production in 'Raw Shit'. The name says it all really.

'Ode' drops as a single on 8th March 2024, 'True Acid Raver' drops on 15th March 2024

The full Harmonic Frequencies (Volume 1) will be released digitally on Bandcamp, other digital stores and streamers on 22nd March 2024.
