Super Hi-Fi is a new label from the minds behind Funk Weapons. Bridging the gap between house, breaks and funk, the label gets off the ground with a storming 12" from B-Team. Starting out in 1997 doing funky house and breaks as the All Good Funk Alliance, the boys self-released there first release called the Fixation EP. They had a couple of songs featured on several mix cds, and were really getting out there as producers. Around the year 2000 they started a label called Funk Weapons and started to take on a different sound, which incorporated more of a funk and breaks sound. Not wanting to abandon the house sound they came up with the an alias for there funky house releases. The B-Team is about taking the house groove on step closer to the funky goodness that P-Funk, Rick James and Prince built. Also featured is a Metro Area-eque re-rub from Homebreakin Records Neighbour and Wax Romeo (under their Neighbourhood Romeo miniker). Feel the funk!
