Closely following the first release from the newly formed Shy Bairns record label based in the toon, the second release welcomes Jak Stratford for his debut EP.


Jak Stratford is pioneering a new sound in his productions following a genre transition. A music producer and DJ from Newcastle, he's now primarily focused on techno, grooves, and progressive house after a hiatus from releasing music. With planned releases for the rest of 2024, he is set on expanding and shaping a musical journey of his own.

Seven Bridges is Jak's debut into this new sound - from the peak-time, bass-infused percussive rhythms of Tribalism to driving warehouse-groove techno in Backroom Rotation, this EP has something for all palettes of the electronic music realm.
