Originally hailing from Long Beach, California, Aphletik crossed the Atlantic with a wish to do something different with his rhymes. Working with east London producers, the Bone Idols, Aphletik aims to move away from all that 'played out' Hip Hop and into something more unusual, more considered? Dare we say it, more intelligent? Since winning the Diesel-U-Music best hip-hop act in 2004, Aphletik has supported UK shows from legends such as Pharoahe Monch, The Pharcyde and The Beatnuts, wowing crowds from London to Liverpool with his exhaustive live show. His 2004 underground release, Keep On, featuring Ty was a starting block for a talent that is growing in status in the UK and Europe and this latest offering is sure to cement his position even further? Let's Do This is an electronic take on hip-hop. With rhymes that would make your mother blush, a lyrical delivery that has been likened to Eminem and a backing track that'll win over all the dance music heads out there, this debut single is sure to make a name for him in the underground scene and beyond.
