About the Project:
Le Snail is a five-track instrumental project produced by Nottingham grime innovator Snowy, in collaboration with visual artist Bruce Asbestos, to soundtrack the SS25 runway performance of Tate Modern's UNIQLO Tate Play programme.

Inspired by the vibrant world of Dash the Snail – an extra-large character in Asbestos's work – the music was crafted to align with the pace and mood of the catwalk. From warped basslines to hypnotic percussion, each instrumental blends abstract grime, experimental rhythms and theatrical energy into a genre-defying live mix. Running 5–19 April 2025.
