Immediate but at the same time fantastically textured, SHXCXCHCXSH's music straddles the experimental and the highly functional. The record almost feels as though split into two separate exercises, with A sides RJRJRFFRJRJ & MDDDSSLLKRR offering harsh, metallic tones, and B sides ZZNNZNZNNZN & OOOVVVDDDDD touching on a more atmospheric, dub Techno aesthetic. The coalescence between moniker and art is palpable.
