Alastair Dawson, Nursery of Naughtiness says "With this E.P we took the elements of dubstep that we love and combined them with our own production style." The Echo is a power struggle… a battle between beauty and the beast, peace and destruction, the two hearts which beat inside each of us. Opening with soft wavering pads and backed by a heavy steady trip hop beat the wandering tonality gives the opening section an expectant air. The relative peace is quickly broken by the introduction of the unique NoN brand of dirty synths, tremulous, dark and discordant.Until You Master Time continues the theme of duality, picking up where The Echo leaves off, at the same tempo and with a similar rhythm. It could almost be an echo of the echo, with it’s gentler pads and trippy beat, set with a plaintive and indistinct female vocal sample, emploring the listener to ‘take me away from here.’ The breakdown features male spoken word samples reminiscent of Michael Caine doing his best British disdain
