Rosie Turton and Miryam Solomon are proud to present the first single, 'deep.', from their new album 'maar'. 'maar' is an ambient improvised project, exploring conversations between voice, modular synthesizer and trombone. Their new single organically grew out of a time when Rosie and Miryam were writing a song together in 2024. Whilst recording at Lightship 95, they experimented with freely improvising with the voice and trombone. More moments like these continued at Rosie's home studio, and this time incorporating Rosie's modular synthesizer. From these sessions emerged 'deep.', a twelve-minute ambient sonic scape where machine and voice explore the interplay of rhythm and melody. With Miryam's vocals floating over a landscape of soft synth sounds, it gently holds the listener through a deep sonic journey.
