MidnightRoba is the solo project of vocalist, songwriter and producer Roba El-Essawy. The voice of Attica Blues (Mo Wax 1997, Sony 2000), 'Keep You Close' is taken from Roba's second solo album 'Raise A Symphony'. Whilst her first album was very much rooted in jazz and was a personal expression, 'Raise A Symphony' is an electronic offering and marks this time, globally, for us all.
Keep You Close is a parent's prayer to keep her child safe, protected from harm.
