We are to proud to present our first release from the Brixton based artist MC Trooper.

Having graced Roots Garden sound system sessions with his trade mark fast-chat style and uplifting lyrics for 20 plus years this release is well overdue! Manasseh supplies a futuristic styled steppers rhythm, it's bouncing bassline and cinematic synth sounds the perfect backdrop for Trooper's energetic delivery and uplifting message.

MC Trooper: Biography

MC Trooper The Lyrics computer...Compere, Artist, Selector, Radio DJ Personality/Microphone Chanter & functioning member of The Twelve Tribes Of Israel (London) since 1979.

A Founding member of The Champion 12 Tribe Sound system "Jah Revelation Muzik"& The Original Selector/Operator for Jah Revelation Muzik from its Founding in 1980 un till Notting Hill Carnival 1987...After taking the Microphone at Carnival 1987 & by public demand MC Trooper continued to MC on Jah Revelation Muzik un till its disbandment in 1992...As 1 door closed many doors opened & MC Trooper was soon finding work as an MC in clubs all around the UK including his long standing weekly residency at Brighton's Volks club "Strictly Reggae".

MC Trooper started honing his inimitable Radio Style that is still transmitting to the World on London's No1 Reggae Radio Station...Vibes 93.8FM. Soon progressing to a primetime slot he continues to host shows on Kiss fm on Monday and Thursday's 10am-1pm as well as a late night revival spot on on a tuesday.
Over the next Few years MC Trooper continued to play out & also continued recording,with various tunes appearing on vinyl including"Virtuous Wo-man"a collaboration with"Jimmy Thunder"backed by"Mafia & Fluxy"&"Put Down The Gun"backed by Unitone.

The Resurrection of "Jah Revelation Muzik" due to popular demand came in 2009 when "Jah Revelation Muzik" took up Residence at the"Hootananny",Brixton every Thursday night...It soon became regard as a Special Roots & Culture night where all kinda people gathered in Love & Unity, establishing it's name as a mainstay amongst London's international Reggae community an roots connoisseurs.

MC Trooper continues to perform with live bands, selectors and sound systems across the UK, Europe, Africa and beyond delivering Strong, Positive, Orthodox, Culture Lyrics to the World!
