Tracks 1 & 2 Bob Skeng's first recording with Nick Manasseh was the now legendary "Education" on RIZ records in 1991. Providing a rock solid, roots reggae backing track, members of the Shofar Horns and Soothsayers horn sections compliment Bob Skeng's distinctive voice. complete with Dubwise instrumental from producer Nick Manasseh Tracks 3 & 4 Desbert "Chezidek" Johnson has become one of Jamaica's most distinctive and prolific contemporary singers. with hits such as "Leave De Trees", "Break free" "Harvest Time" and "Can't Hear Must Feel" for Philip "Fatis" Burrell's Xterminator label. Manasseh supplies a suitable and finely balanced one-drop style rhythm track, complete with a Black Ark style drum machine intro! Chezidek's sweet and soulful vocals ride over the rhythm of live bass, luscious organ licks and vintage drum sounds, like a cool breeze. Complete with Dubwise instrumental from producer Nick Manasseh Tracks 5 & 6 West London's Dark Angel is a talented and versatile roots, dancehall and R & B singer who in recent years has built up a name within London's underground dancehall scene and on pirate radio. In 2008 gave way to the release of the lyrically inspired herb anthem "Medication" on Norwich's Foundation label. Dark Angel tackles the rhythm like a man sent on a mission, his militant singjay tones sounding reminiscent of Capleton over a relentless, dark rhythm track equipped with punching 80's drum sounds, infectious synth lines, a subsonic bassline and futuristic piano chops. The subject matter is strictly cultural as he chants down the injustices of the Babylon system: complete with Dubwise instrumental from producer Nick Manasseh Tracks 7 & 8 Reggae veteran Johnny Osbourne is one of Jamaica's best-loved singers with scores of hit tunes from nearly four decades for the likes of Winston "Bam Bam" Riley, Studio One, King Jammys, Channel 1, Bobby Digital and countless others. Manasseh totally reworks the original rhythm track for the remix with more of a contemporary feel, yet with obvious references to the early 1980's Roots Radics era of 'dancehall' roots hits mixed by Scientist. Johnny Osbourne's baritone vocal takes a fresh approach to the popular repatriation theme by addressing the issue from a sharper angle.
