Rotary Perception

A 10 track acid jazz album (36m 21s) — released May 31st 2024 on Running Circle Records

Rotary Perception is the debut album from London based electronic jazz caboodle Loose Cables. The trio explore new modes of improvisation and expression with traditional and electronic instruments; combining raw analogue sequences from modular synthesizers, with more familiar and organic tones.

Loose Cables is Harry Jones AKA Lazy H, Sam Beedell and Luke Marzec. Complete freedom has been instrumental in the development of their unique setup and sound. "We see the album delve into a range of moods and tempos moving between beautiful ambient soundscapes and robust electronic beats, featuring solos and improvised themes throughout."

Likened to Dorian Concept or Vels Trio, they can be better described as 'Like the Chick Corea Elektric band if aliens abducted them' Dancesystem (Ministry of Sound), 'Exceptional live improvisation that hits hard like a DJ set' Jo Worley (Westival founder and organiser) and 'The most futuristic sound in London' (Voices Radio).
