A recent spin-off from indie collective Papernut Cambridge has been a new fictitious artist Toni Tubna - the failed magician and subject of a book of short stories and an album collaboration between Papernut's Ian Button and art historian/lyricist Scott Thomas Buckle. Inevitably the idea doesn't stop there, as some of the other characters from Toni's world have also started releasing music.
The Stockholm Tuba Sect (Toni's mysterious backing band) released their own EP of brass band Olivia Newton John covers shortly before she passed away.
Now the sinister ventriloquist dummy from one of the darkest tales in the book has made a sugary glam pop duet with a rabbit-in-a-hat puppet. They say they are in love.
