One half of The Cold Spells (Michael Farmer) releases a solo EP to round off 2020 for us - albeit at 8 tracks and 30mins it's practically an album in most people's book!! Farmer's Winter EP has hallmarks of The Cold Spells' wintry magic as you might expect, but also combines more symphonic soundtrack-y electronica and prog elements to conjure up a kind of Christmassy Cardiacs, pastoral Frank Zappa, or even at times a Victorian automaton version of Madness.
