Life Pass Filter, from Lille in France, are releasing an EP through Gare Du Nord Records as a musical gift to their friends' son.
Joseph is a lovers' project created by Antoine Boucherikha (Composer and Sound Designer) & Anne Hélou (Graphic Designer) to celebrate the birth of Joseph Chevalier-Poher, the first-born among their inner circle of closest friends.
Five intimate, melodic and lo-fi acoustic guitar led pop songs that hint at 60's pop and modern indie influences - Beck mingled with Tyrannosaurus Rex is one comparison.
The project is a folk message to the adult this boy will one day grow to be, as well as a gentle reminder of the sweetness of childhood. Like a link to the past, Joseph serves to encapsulate a precise moment in history, enabling these proud new parents to forever revisit this period of joy, purity and happiness.
