A 4 track brit pop ep (10m 21s) — released March 8th 2019 on Gare du Nord Records

The new four song "Argy-BARGY" EP follows on from District Repair Depot's debut album for Gare du Nord last year. 'DRD' comprise actor/composer Stephen Evans ("Greed" alongside Steve Coogan for Sony Pictures 2019, "Sally4Ever" HBO/Sky, "Camping"Sky Atlantic, two series of "Hyperdrive" BBC2 with Nick Frost & Miranda Hart, "Still Open All Hours" BBC1), and Robert Halcrow (Picturebox, Papernut Cambridge, Darren Hayman, Twink).

Recorded in Canterbury, London & Phil's shower, the new EP contains songs about hard cases, boredom, bleakness and golden sunshine. As with the debut, "Argy-BARGY" further echoes 60s/70s McCartney and the likes of The Kinks, Bonzo Dog Band, Ivor Cutler, Syd-era Floyd, children's TV and Brit 90s indie heroes.

The EP kicks off with the pounding punch of "Argy-Bargy", a gritty account of a young boy's school day, complete with aggro, hard fists and dinner ladies.

"The End Times Song" belongs to the soundtrack of the forthcoming Sony Entertainment movie "Soul Reaper" (2019). Here, the monotony of a morning commute is etched into the ear by the haunting sound of a French horn.

The EP closes with two songs of moral support and encouragement. "(The World of) Autumn Feelings" opens the front door in defiance of the coming Winter to await the good times of Spring before "All Will Be Well", referencing 14th century Christian mystic Julian of Norwich, offers its own beleagured reassurance that all troubles will pass, eventually.

Previous support: Robert Rotifer "Heartbeat" show – FM4.
